JOANNE HABBEN, 65, of 19073 Dean Road, Morrison, IL, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL.

JoAnne was born May 23, 1943 in Palo Alto, CA to Donald P. and LaVeta (Massey) Patrick. She graduated from high school in Redwood City, CA and attended San Jose State University in San Jose, CA. JoAnne married Milford Habben on July 6, 1964 in Santa Cruz, CA. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband, Milford. She had been a 4-H leader of the Cooperating Millies in Milledgeville, IL. She was an avid wildlife observer, enjoyed traveling and she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Milford; one daughter, Cathie (Mrs. Mike) Downs of Chadwick, IL; one son, Don (Nikki) Habben of Taylor Ridge, IL; four grandchildren, Jennifer Anne Bennett, Amanda Lyne Bennett, Taylor Kasia Luebbe, and Grace Jordan Habben.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

VISITATION: 4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT: West Genesee Cemetery – Coleta, IL
