Final Week for Backpacks for Cedar Rapids

Help the children in Cedar Rapids go back to school with the tools they need for the school year. Legacy Music Ministries have teamed up with Westminster Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to help the children as they return to school by supplying them with school supplies in a backpack. To find out more information about this aid or to drop off a backpack stop in at one of the following locations; Morrison Tire Center, 318 East Main, Morrison, IL; Witt’s End Styling Center, 1215 4th Street, Fulton, IL; Spring Valley Church,10960 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL; Curves, 1314 17th Street, Fulton, IL; Culver’s 2625 Lincolnway, Clinton, IA; Pizza Ranch, 1347 11th Street Northwest, Clinton, IA; Fusion Fitness,123 West Main, Morrison IL. Monetary donations can be made at Community State Bank in Fulton, Morrison or Rock Falls or County Market in Sterling. Ask for Legacy Backpack Mission Fund.

A Cedar Rapids Flood Relief Concert by Legacy will be held on Saturday August 16 at 7:00 pm. Legacy is a Christian rock band from Fulton, IL with a heart for serving God. The concert will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 1285 3rd Avenue Se, Cedar Rapids IA. The public is invited but special invitations go out to the church congregations which have experienced great losses from the flooding. The backpacks will be given to the coordinator for the Cedar Rapids Schools in charge of homeless students, who will distribute the bags to the children in need.
