June 09, 1923 - July 12, 2008 LUCY VOSS, 85, of 1029 9th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Lucy was born June 9, 1923 in Newton Township, IL, to Martin and Gertie (Buikema) Vander Vinne. She was educated in the Byers Grade School of rural Whiteside County. Lucy married Allan J. Voss on March 18, 1954 in Fulton, IL. She was employed by the former Clinton Garment Company in Clinton, IA for 44 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton, a member of the church choir, and of the church’s King’s Daughters Ladies Society. Lucy enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and neighbors. Survivors include her husband, Allan; nieces, Paulette (Frank) Walston of Fulton, IL; Debbie (Tom) Pratt of Erie, IL; nephews, Gerry Vander Vinne of St. Charles, IL; Paul (Pam) Vander Vinne of Morrison, IL; Harold (Kathy) Vander Vinne of Morrison, IL; and Marion (Karen) Vander Vinne of Fulton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Donald Vander Vinne.
