More than 20 windows were broken at Northside School.


Fusion Fitness had three windows broken

It truly is “breaking” news as vandals broke windows out in numerous businesses and homes. The incidents happened early this morning, July 29.

Report from Morrison Police Department

The Morrison Police Department is investigating a series of vandalisms that occurred during the early morning hours of July 28, sometime after midnight. Morrison Police responded to 11 reports of vandalisms to windows, 4 vandalisms to vehicles, and one burglary. Listed below are the locations where the incidents occurred.

H.B. Wilkinson Title Company - 500 North Cherry Street - 1 Door 1 window
Northside Grade School - 21 Windows
American Products -125 West Main Street - 4 windows
609 North Madison Street -1 Door
310 West Wall Street - 5 Windows 1 Door
Yarborough Appliances - 227 West Main Street -1 Window
408 North Genesee Street- 2 Windows
Ludens, Potter, Burch, Melton & Calvo Law Offices - 2 Windows
405 North Base Street - 2 Truck Windows
Fusion Fitness -121/123 West Main Street - 3 Windows
125 West Main Street -1 Window
107 Prospect Street - 1 Car Window
Whiteside County Parking Lot - 6 Holes punched in the sides of an Emergency Services Trailer, 3 Windows broken
401 North Genesee Street -1 Windshield
303 West Main Street- Garage Burglary, 1 Vehicle Window broken, Cash taken.

According to eyewitness reports, three individuals, in their teens, may have been involved in these offenses.
