Second Annual Morrison Kids Fun Day |
|
Youngsters had a chance to attend the Second Annual Morrison Kids Fun Day on Wednesday, July 23. Though it was a smaller group this year the day proved to be fun for those who attended. Members of the Morrison Fire Department treated the children to a ride in one of the fire trucks. The kids also had a chance to sit in a real police car, as officer Brock Helms explained how the lights, siren, and computers worked and answered other numerous questions that the children asked. The Morrison Rotary Club members taught the children how to play Baggo. Other activities the children were able to participate in were paddle boating, fishing, egg roll game and a highlight was the dunk tank. For more pictures see Kids Fun Day. Drawings for prizes were held and everyone received Dairy Queen coupons. by Dawn Zuidema, theCity1.com |
