October 13, 1912 - July 04, 2008 VERA E. LANDHERR, 95, of Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison, IL, died Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Living Center. Vera was born October 13, 1912, in Morrison, IL, to Christian and Neva (Daniels) Rick. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools. She married Harold J. Landherr on December 5, 1936 in Morrison. He died March 21, 1973. Vera was employed at Herman Nelson’s and later she worked for Climco Coils Co., both of Morrison. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and was involved with the Faith Circle. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and especially loved tending her flower garden. Survivors include one daughter, Glenda (Mrs. Tom) Ingram of Fulton, IL; four sons, Donald (Shirley) Landherr of Morrison, Lester (Marge) Landherr of Winfield, IL, Jim (Mary Jane) Landherr of Waukesha, WI, and Glenn (Donna) Landherr of Morrison; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; one son, Rudy Landherr; two brothers, Glenn and Bert Rick.
