Ellamae Moldermaker


July 26, 1919 - June 25, 2008

ELLAMAE MOLDERMAKER, 88, of 1025 7th Ave, Fulton, IL died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA.

Ellamae was born July 26, 1919 in Fulton, IL, to John C. and Katie (Bonneur) Voss. She was educated in Fulton grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1938. Ellamae married George W. Moldermaker on September 18, 1940 in Fulton. Together they owned and operated Moldermaker Greenhouse in Fulton. She also worked at Climco Coils Co. in Morrison, IL. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton, IL, where she belonged to the Ladies Aid Society. She also taught Sunday school for many years.

Survivors include her husband, George; one daughter, Mrs. Linda K. Miley of Fulton, MO; one son, Larry (Sandy) Moldermaker of Johnston, IA; two grandchildren, Sarah (Mrs. Roy) Rohrbach and Angela (Mrs. Joe) Vogel; two step-grandchildren, Mike (Julee) Bruce and Laurie Zimmerman; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Alan (Lucy) Voss of Fulton,IL.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles N. Voss and one sister, Margaret TenBoer.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING: Rev. Tom Merchant – Pastor of the Trinity Reformed Church – Fulton, IL

VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery – Fulton, IL

Memorials to Trinity Reformed Church and the American Cancer Society have been established by the family.
