Henry A. Bos

HENRY A. BOS, 92, of 1208 16th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA.

Henry was born April 20, 1916 in Fulton, IL, to Enno and Bena “Winnie” (Shipma) Bos. He attended Fulton, IL grade and high schools. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the CBI theatre. Henry married Ruth Bailey on December 7, 1942 in San Antonio, TX. He was employed with the former Curtis Woodworking Factory in Clinton, IA and the former Central Steel Tube Company in Camanche, IA, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Fulton American Legion Post #402 and the Whiteside County C.U.P.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Sikkema, Grace Luckritz, and Reka Kooi; three brothers, William, Louis, and Rensie Bos.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home – Fulton, IL

OFFICIATING: Rev. Chuck Johnson, pastor of First Baptist Church – Camanche, IA

VISITATION: 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home – Fulton, IL

INTERMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery – Fulton, IL
