Two Names Released in Homicide

Two of the victims names have been released: Brock Branson and Ken Ulve were both identified. The woman and child's names have not been released.

A welfare check led Rock Falls Police to a gruesome discovery Monday afternoon.

Investigators found four people inside an apartment at 1201 Avenue "A" apartment #5. The four people were two adult men, one adult woman and one child. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

Illinois State Police technicians are processing the crime scene. Police believe that Nicholas Sheley is considered a person of interest in the investigation. He knew at least one of the victims.
