September 27, 1910 - May 31, 2008 KATHERINE H. BUTLER, 97, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the nursing home. Katherine was born September 27, 1910 to Patrick and Martha (Martindale) Butler. She was educated in the Fulton, IL grade schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. She was first employed by the former Savanna Army Ordinance Depot in Savanna, IL. Katherine was later employed by the former Wire Cloth Manufacturing Co. in Clinton, IA and most recently worked at Fulton Corporation in Fulton until retiring in August 1982. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulton. Katherine enjoyed reading, praying, and reciting the Rosary every day. Survivors include her niece, Noreen (Fred) Pronger of Wheeling, IL; her nephew, Ronald (Caroline) Johnson of Clinton, IA; and a great niece, Donna (Kenneth) Buikema of Fulton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Freda B. Johnson, Sister Mary Noreen Butler O.S.F., Rosa Marx, and Marie Theilen; two brothers, Bernard and Norman Butler.
