Diabetic Support Group to Begin

A Diabetic Support Group will begin at First Presbyterian Church in cooperation with Medical Associates Clinton’s Diabetic Educator Sue Collins. The group will meet once a month on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the church. The first meeting will be Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1:30 p.m.

Sue will be facilitating the group. She is an RN Certified Diabetic Educator with 22 years experience facilitating support groups in the surrounding area. She has been a diabetic for over 30 years and is able to incorporate her personal experience with the disease. Sue will begin with an “Introduction to Diabetes.” The support group is beneficial for pre-diabetic/diabetic family.
