Prairie Ridge Golf Course Opens Back Nine Saturday, June 14

The rain has been welcome at Prairie Ridge as they contently watched the back nine seeding fill in. Opening Saturday, June 14 will be a vista of scenic views, hills and challenging elevation levels to complete an 18 hole course.

According to owner Lowell Beggs, every tee, fairway and green has been renovated. More than 15,000 cubic yards of dirt have been moved to create the signature hole (Hole #11). Bring your best game when you play the blue tees as it’s sure to be a challenge.

"Our goal is to be the best course in Western IL in the next few years.”

Owners are confident that you will enjoy playing at Prairie Ridge Golf and even offer a guarantee that if you are not happy with the course, they will refund your green fees.

Prairie Ridge offers Golf Lessons by Lyle Upton for adults and children (ages 8 and up). Outings and tournaments are welcome as well as visits to the driving range and practice putting greens. They have an active Men’s and Ladies Association and are currently forming a Business League on Tuesday nights for just $12 including cart.
