Boosters Selling Riverboat Days Fun Cards |
|
Morrison Athletic Boosters are once again selling Fun Cards to Clinton Riverboat Days. These Fun Cards are your entry pass into the three-day event. This year’s Riverboat Days runs from July 3 through July 5, 2008. the passes may be purchased from the boosters for $21, a savings of $9 if you were to wait to buy your pass at one of the gates. This year’s stellar entertainment running July 3 to 5 respectively is Dennis DeYoung (the music of Styx with special guest Glen Burtnik); Blackhawk and Restless Heart; Blue Oyster Cult (with special guest The Shadows of Knight). Along with the great entertainment your pass will also get you into other events such as tractor pulls, car show, demolition derby as well as many more attractions on the grounds. Morrison Athletic Boosters will also be working the gates at Riverboat Days. This helps the Boosters provide support and funding for the Junior High and High School extra-curricular activities. The Athletic Boosters are also committed to building a new concession stand by the football field complete with real restrooms. Start lining up your group to work a gate or two to help the Boosters raise these funds. Now that you know the entertainment schedule and your group wants a special night and/or gate, feel free to give Karen Stralow a call 772-3998, and she will get you on the schedule. It helps when you group calls and sets up a time. Anyone from the community 18 years of age or over is welcome to help the boosters. Employers, get a group of your employees together to represent your business at one of the gates. These groups have a great time. You may purchase your Riverboat Day Fun Card at Fusion Fitness, Sullivan’s, Hair Headquarters or Community State Bank. Remember, if you purchase your Fun Card before June 30, 2008 you will save yourself $9 per pass. See you at Clinton Riverboat Days. by Editor, theCity1.com |
