Three-Vehicle Accident - Minor Injuries

Morrison Police investigated a three-car accident on June 3, 2008, at approximately 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of East Lincolnway and North Madison Streets.

An eastbound car driven by Dallas L. Hodge, 70, Rock Falls, struck a car stopped in traffic, driven by Richard E. Nailor III, 27, of Morrison. The impact of the collision pushed the Nailor car into the rear of a stopped car operated by Barry P. Linder, 60, Morrison.

Hodge and Nailor received minor injuries as a result of the collision, and were treated at the scene by Morrison Ambulance paramedics. Total damage to all vehicles exceeded $500. No vehicles had to be towed. Hodge was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Hodge is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
