Line Dancing with Leann Schaeffer

COME AND JOIN US!... at the Morrison MAPPING Family and Recreation Committee's community dance. LINE DANCING with lessons by Leann Shaeffer will be held Sunday, June 15 (Father's Day) at the Odell Community Room, from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Fathers $1.00 off of the $5.00 admission ticket; Family Tickets - $15.00; and children ages 12 to 5 years - $3.00.

The Family Recreation Committee has plans for the summer dances that they hope you will come and enjoy with them.

Upcoming events Family Recreation acvities:

July 13th - Ice Cream Social with games! Ice cream with toppings; cake walks; group board games...still in the planning stage; but, it will be an afternoon for the family. Come join!

August 17 - "Square Dance" with Doug and Don Sprosty for beginners, mainstream and plus dancers.

September 21 - "Bouncing Play Yard" ...an upcoming fun afternoon for the kids in all of us!

October 19 - "Swing Dancing!" Lessons lead by Dennis and Sandy Schekel of DeWitt.

The committee is always looking for dances that all of you in Morrison will enjoy. Come join the group and spend an afternoon with them as it has been a very successful series of dances so far. The first dance was during the "Paint the Town" activities in September 2008, and has continued through the fall of 2007 into 2008. They are planning to continue to provide recreation for all age groups of Morrison...this is just the preliminary projects. They are quietly but diligently working to add more recreation for the community. Come and find out what you are missing?
