2008 Year in Review

CCC Graduates List

Clinton Community College celebrated their 60th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m. The Ceremony was held at Clinton High School in Yourd Gymnasium.

Student Marshals were Holly Ricca and Doug Housenga. Faculty Marshals were Lanell Mogab and Chris Eichmeier. Student Speakers for this year’s Commencement Ceremony were Julie Connell, Susan Donahue and Jesse Fullan. Kelsi Huber provided the music for the Ceremony. A musical selection was presented by Lacy Putman. 73 graduates attended the ceremony.

The Honor Cording Ceremony was held earlier that day. This was a time to celebrate those graduating with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or greater. Four received Highest Honors graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Twenty seven graduated with Honors earning a 3.5 GPA or higher.

The Nurse Pinning Ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 13 as well. Nursing graduates were pinned by a significant person in their lives. Former Clinton Mayor and nurse, LaMetta Wynn, was the guest speaker for this event. CCC Instructor Amy Gruhn served as Mistress of Ceremonies.
