Numerous Alcohol Charges
Whiteside County Deputies arrested Jacinta M.A. Vazquez, 18 of Rock Falls on May 17, 2008 at approximately 11:37 p.m. at Sinnissippi Park in Sterling. Vazquez was arrested for DUI-Alcohol, DUI-BAC Greater Than .08, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Possession and Consumption of Alcohol as a minor. She was taken to Whiteside County Jail.
Single Motorcycle Accident
Deputies responded to a single motorcycle accident involving injuries on Lyman Road just north of Spring Hill Road, rural Erie, on May 25, 2008 at approximately 3:15 p.m.
Jane Rene Reese, age 47, of Geneseo, was attempting to negotiate a curve when she lost control of her motorcycle and entered the ditch. The motorcycle struck a culvert and ejected Reese. Due to her injuries she was transported to Genesis-Illini Campus where she was treated.

Aggravated Crinimal Sexual Abuse
The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert A. Cunningham, 49, Prophetstown, IL on May 27, 2008 on a warrant for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Cunningham was taken to Whiteside County Jail where he is being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing. This arrest is merely a charge and Cunningham is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
