County Board Member Receives Recognition

County Board member John Espinoza was presented with a certificate and lapel pin at the May 20 Whiteside County Board meeting signifying completion of 24 credit hours in the Certified County Officials through University of Illinois Whiteside County Extension.

This program is a collaborative partnership between University of Illinois Extension and the Illinois Association of County Board Members and Commissioners. The purpose of the Certified County Officials program is to strengthen the skills and leadership capacity of county officials. The CCO program recognizes officials who demonstrate professionalism and dedication to enhancing their knowledge through advanced education.
