2008 Year in Review

Memorial Day, Monday May 26

This year’s Memorial Day Ceremonies in Morrison will start with the parade at 10:30 a.m. The parade route will travel west on Main Street from Madison to Genesee Street and then move north on Genesee to the Grove Hill Cemetery.

The Memorial Service will be at the Veteran’s Memorial and Pavilion starting at approximately 11 a.m., with time allowed for everyone to travel from the downtown parade route.

Everyone is invited to join the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion in honoring those who gave their all for our country.

Parade participant line up will begin at 10 a.m. on East Main Street.

It is requested that if at all possible, please do not park any vehicles on the parade route between 10 and 11 a.m. Ample parking is generally available on Market Street or in the Market Street lot.
