April 06, 1924 - April 12, 2008 AUDREY POSTMA, 84, of Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the nursing home. Audrey was born April 6, 1924, in Groningen, Holland, to Martinus and Joukje (Bylsma) Zuiderveld. She was educated in the Holland grade schools. She married Joe Postma on January 14, 1947 in Grootegast, Holland. Audrey and Joe immigrated to the United States in 1956, and they farmed in the rural Calamus, IA area. They have resided in the Fulton, IL area since 1968. Audrey was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Survivors include her husband, Joe; one daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Robin) Hewer of Lost Nation, IA; four sons, Peter Postma of Clinton, IA, Martin (Carla) Postma of Sterling, IL, Joe E. Postma of Fulton, IL and Richard Postma of Clinton, IA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Wietske Alserda, Trien Zylstra and Fina Vander Veen, all of the Netherlands; three brothers, Willem (Geertje) Zuiderveld, Jo (Roellie) Zuiderveld and Wobbe (Anna) Zuiderveld, all of the Netherlands.
