CCC 2008 Commencement and Related Activities

Clinton Community College will be celebrating their 60th Commencement Ceremony on Tuesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. The Ceremony will be held at Clinton High School in Yourd Gymnasium. Immediately following the Ceremony a reception will be held at Clinton Community College, 1000 Lincoln Boulevard, Clinton.

Student Marshals will be Holly Ricca and Doug Housenga. Faculty Marshals will be Lanell Mogab and Chris Eichmeier. Student Speakers for this year’s Commencement Ceremony will be Julie Connell, Susan Donahue and Jesse Fullan. Kelsi Huber will be providing the music for the Ceremony. A musical selection will be presented by Lacy Putman.

There is much celebration going on at the campus prior to the Commencement Ceremony. These are:

Clinton Community College Alumni Asssociation Outstanding Awards Reception is Monday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m. in the CCC Auditorium.

Honor Cording Ceremony is Tuesday, May 13 at Noon. This is a time for us to celebrate those graduating with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or greater. There will be a short program with refreshments following provided by the Student Senate.

Nurse Pinning Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. Nursing graduates will be pinned by a significant person in their lives. Former Clinton Mayor and nurse, LaMetta Wynn, will be the guest speaker for this event. For questions about any of these events, contact Mardell Mommsen at Clinton Community College, 563-244-7006.
