ELLEN P. GARRISON, 90, of Morrison died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Morrrison Commuity Hospital.

Ellen was born May 24, 1917, in Macomb, Illinois to Orrin and Della (Landsdown) Chatterton. She married Howard L. Butcher in 1938 in Macomb, Illinois. She later married Mathew L. Garrison on November 14, 1970. Ellen was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Good Morning School, Gem Club, A.A.R.P., and Wa-Tan-Ye Club. A memorial has been established to Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison Community Hospital Auxiliary, and Mercy Hospice.

Survivors include one daughter, Gretchen (Lyle) Bush of Morrison, IL; one son,Gregory (Wanda) Butcher of Lilburn, GA; two step-children, Larry (Deanna) Garrison of Watersmeet, MI, Phillip (Gloria) Garrison of Morrison, IL; six grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; eighteen step-great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Betty) Chatterton of Macomb, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husand, Mathew; one step-son, Clayton Garrison; three sisters, Hazel Greene, Goldie Weger, Dorothy Swartzbaugh; two brothers, Floyd and Keith Chatterton.

FUNERAL SERVICE WHEN AND WHERE: 2:00 PM Wednesday – April 2, 2008 at the Morrison United Methodist Church

CO-OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Gary Curl – Pastor & Rev. Deborah Tinsley-Taylor – Associate Pastor: Morrison United Methodist Church

VISITATION: 12:30 PM until time of funeral service Wednesday, – April 2, 2008 at the Morrison United Methodist Church

INTERMENT: Grove Hill Cemetery – Morrison, IL
