4-Hers Sell 1,050 Pork Chops

Thumbs up for a job well done

Samantha Eissens takes tickets

The First Annual Whiteside County 4-H Drive thru Pork Chop Barbeque was a big success. The barbeque was held Thursday evening April 17 at the Extension Office. Whiteside County 4-Hers sold 1,050 pork chops.

The meals included pork chops, macaroni salad, chips and a cookie. Supporters drove through the parking lot and could remain in their vehicles as volunteers delivered the meals.

This 4-H Fundraiser replaced the 4-H Food Stand at the Whiteside County Fair.

Many volunteers helped to make this event possible. The 4-Her’s, parents, Friends of 4-H, and Whiteside County Pork Producers.

Thanks for helping support the Whiteside County 4-H Program!
