Grand Opening of Morrison Heritage Museum

The Morrison Heritage Museum will open April 25 through November 16, 2008, Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.

An Open House will be held on Sunday, April 27. The program will be “People to be Remembered.” These are stories of notable people who lived in Morrison.

Stephanie Vavra will give an introduction to the Cemetery Walk at 2 p.m.

Displays will be coordinated with the men and women from the new book as follows: Mrs. L.A. Abbott, L. Carlton Anderson, Mabel Borman, Lloyd Durward, Boyd, Butch and Clara Kimmel, Tena Klimstra, Wilma Lucas, Harold T. Mathew, Robert A. Millikan, Robert A. Norrish, John D. Renkes, Eddie Schuler, Frank H. Schuman, Ferdinand Trautwein, W.E. Weaver and Joe and Helen Wilson.

Also on display will be painting by local artists.

Refreshments will follow.
