CCC Offers Boating Course

Summer is just around the corner. Are you buying a new boat? Want to brush up on boating safety and etiquette? Here’s your opportunity! Clinton Community College and the Clinton Power Squadron are partnering to offer “U.S. Safe Boating.”

This 8-hour class will cover proper boat handling, water safety rules, life-saving techniques, courtesy on the water, and policies of river boating. The class meets Monday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Clinton Community College, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton from April 14 through May 5. Pre-registration is required. Call 1-888-336-3907 or 563/244-7100 and register for class # 46272. There is a $25 material fee payable to the Power Squadron the first night of class.
