December 06, 1922 - March 17, 2008 MARJORIE J. BIELEMA, 85, of 4949 18th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Monday, March 17, 2008 at her home. Marjorie was born December 6, 1922 in Fulton, IL to Claus and Tessie (Aggen) Wierenga. She was educated in the Fulton grade schools and attended Fulton High School. She married Ben Bielema, Jr. on September 7, 1940 in Clinton, IA. He died March 7, 1975. She was employed by Haan’s Greenhouse and VanderBleek’s Greenhouses in Fulton. She later worked in the housekeeping department of Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, IA, retiring in 1987. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton, had served as a volunteer gardener with the Clinton County Master Gardeners and was a contributor with the annual Fulton Community Christmas Dinner. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Ron) Habben of Sterling, IL; Brenda (Bill) Council of Fulton, IL and Marilyn (Jim) Carswell of Fulton, IL; two sons, Larry (Joan) Bielema of Thomson, IL and Kenneth D. (Peggy) Bielema of Fulton, IL; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Francis of Lyndon, IL and Mrs. Loretta Harter of Clinton, IA; two brothers, Carl Wierenga and Arlyn (Dorothy) Wierenga both of Fulton, IL.
