EDYTHE M. VAIL, 96, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the nursing home.

Edythe was born October 27, 1911 in Saratoga Township, IL, to Frank and Effie (Johnson) Ziegler. She married Danile A. Vail, Jr. on June 19, 1930 in Henry, IL. He died October 23, 1992. She was engaged in farming with her husband in the rural Putnam, IL area until 1950. Edythe enjoyed knitting and working puzzle books.

Survivors include one son, Calvin (Carol) Vail of Morrison, IL; one grandson, Kevin (Martine) Vail of Temecula, CA; two great grandchildren, Danielle and Mitchell Vail; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Marie Staab of East Moline, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Peggy Emmert – Pastor: Henry United Methodist Church – Henry, IL

NO VISITATION: The Morrison Chapel – Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

INTERMENT: Henry Cemetery – Henry, IL
