LANESBORO -- A memorial service for Michael T. Mindrum, 52, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Lanesboro United Methodist Church; the Rev. Michael Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Lanesboro Cemetery. Mr. Mindrum, of Cottage Grove, Minn., died Wednesday (March 12, 2008) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. Michael Todd Mindrum was born January 15, 1956, in Preston. He graduated from Morrison High School, and went on to attend Brown Institute of Technology in Minneapolis. He served in the Air Force for four years and the Navy for four years. He lived in Lanesboro for nine years and Morrison for 10 years. He was a federal employee of the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years, and enjoyed fishing and golf. He is survived by his mother, Mary Mindrum of Lanesboro; four brothers, Jeffery (Kathy) of Chuluota, Fla., Mitchel of Rochester, Chris of Lanesboro and Kyle (Judy) of Rushford; and two sisters, Jenifer Hungerholt and Martha (Richard) Gullickson, both of Lanesboro. He was preceded in death by his father, Caryl; a brother, William; and a niece, Adria. Visitation will be an hour before the service Saturday at Lanesboro United Methodist Church.
