Gary E. Hoogheim


February 22, 1940 - March 13, 2008

GARY E. HOOGHEIM, 68, of the Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Alverno.

Gary was born February 22, 1940, in Clinton, IA, to Edward J. and Helen B. (Cripe) Hoogheim. He was educated in the Fulton grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1958. He attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. Gary was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church and was a member of the choir.

Survivors include one aunt, Mrs. Irene Kramer of Fulton, IL; two uncles, Vincent (Wilma) Hoogheem of Fulton, IL and Verne (Pat) Hoogheem of Breckenridge, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janis, who died in infancy.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM Saturday – March 15, 2008 at the Fulton Chapel – Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING: Rev. Dr. Stanley Bomgarden – Pastor: Fulton Presbyterian Church – Fulton, IL

VISITATION: 12:30 PM until time of funeral service Saturday – March 15, 2008 at the Fulton Chapel – Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery – Fulton, IL

A memorial to the Alverno Health Care Facility has been established.
