JUDITH M. “JUDI” CHURCH, 65, of 803 1st Street, Lyndon, IL, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown, IL.

Judi was born September 2, 1942, in Morrison, IL, to Donald J. and Doris M. (Nice) Pilgrim. She was educated in the Lyndon Grade School and graduated from Lyndon High School. She attended Black Hawk Community College in Moline, IL and graduated from Moline Business School. Judi married Kenneth J. Church on April 6, 1962, in Morrison, IL. She was employed as a secretary with local attorneys, Henry Pratt and Co., in Dixon, IL and most recently with Phillips and Johnson in Lyndon. She served on the Lyndon Village Board from 2001 until 2007. She was a member of the Lyndon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth; four sons, Kerry Church of Lyndon, Kevin (Carmen) Church of Morrison, Kurt (Dawn) Church of Spring Valley, IL and Kristopher (Jennifer) Church of Morrison; thirteen grandchildren; one sister, Debbie (Mrs. Russel) Toland of Hampton, IL; two brothers, Jerry (Joanne) Pilgrim of Davenport, IA and Ronald (Mary) Pilgrim of Morrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

FUNERAL SERVICE WHEN AND WHERE: 11:00 AM, Friday, February 29, 2008, at the Lyndon United Methodist Church – Lyndon, IL

OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Justin L. Jamis, pastor of the Lyndon United Methodist Church

VISITATION: 10:00 AM until the time of the service, Friday, February 29, 2008 at the Lyndon United Methodist Church – Lyndon, IL. The Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL is in charge of arrangements.

INTERMENT: Lyndon Township Cemetery – Lyndon, IL
