2008 Year in Review

Whiteside Forum Discussion Thursday, February 28

Informal discussion of The Whiteside Forum Spring Conference subject of immigration will take place Thursday, February 28 at 7 p.m. at Odell Library Program Room.

Anyone interested in sharing opinions or questions is invited to participate. Experience, the media, research and more will contribute to the discussion. Current books about immigration at Odell Library include The Immigration Solution by MacDonald, Hanson and Malanga; The Age of Migration by Castles and Miller, and Heaven’s Door by Borjas.

The Whiteside Forum does not take a “position” on immigration. The Forum object is to provide for “education and discussion of timely international issues so people may act in more informed and reasonable ways.”

The Whiteside Forum events are open to the public, without charge.
