Stolen Vehicle
Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a stolen vehicle on February 23, 2008 at approximately 2:30 a.m. The vehicle was taken from a rural Tampico residence. As a result of the investigation Pamela A. Grimes, 24, Tampico was arrested for Criminal Trespassing to Vehicle and two counts of Driving While License is Revoked. She was issued a notice to appear in court in Morrison at a later date. Arrest Following Citizen Report
Whiteside County Deputies made stopped a vehicle on Interstate 88 near Rock Falls on February 24, 2008 at approximately 2 a.m. The stop was conducted following a citizen report and observation of the vehicle swerving in both lanes of traffic. Michael W. Kunz, 24, Dickinson, N.D. was arrested for Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Kunz was released on a promise to comply bond.
Disorderly Conduct
Whiteside County Deputies arrested Victor Erickson, 34, Rock Falls on February 25, 2008 for Disorderly Conduct (making a false report on 911). Erickson was released on a Notice to Appear.
Possession of Cannabis
Whiteside County Deputies arrested Steven J. Byrd, 35, Rock Falls on February 25, 2008 at approximately 1:24 a.m. following a disturbance call. Byrd was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis less than 2.5 grams. Byrd was issued a Notice to Appear for Bond.
