Basket Bingo has Become a Tradition for Many

For many mothers and daughters, sisters and girlfriends, the Basket Bingo event has become a tradition.

This year, the one-day affair on Saturday, March 8, will be held at the Community Building in Rock Falls and sponsored by the Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce. People will have a chance to win one of the popular Longaberger baskets filled with donations from area merchants.

Doors open at 11 a.m. with an early bird game at 12:45 p.m. Ten games will be played beginning at 1 p.m. The cost is $10 and advance ticket purchases are suggested. They can be bought at Sauk Valley Bank, Rock Falls, at the Chamber office or Online. Refreshments will be available.
