Rock Falls Chamber Offers Intern Scholarship Program |

The Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce announces its new Internship and Scholarship Program (ISP) for qualifying high school juniors and seniors or college freshmen and sophomores. Individuals selected will earn scholarships based on time spent on their internships at the Rock Falls Chamber. “This is an excellent way for students to learn office administration, graphic design and website maintenance and design,” said Bethany Bland, the Chamber’s coordinator of membership and special events. “They will also learn about event planning and fund raising.” Students selected for the ISP will also have flexible hours and networking opportunities with local businesses. Scholarships will be awarded based on hours completed. To apply, students should send their resume to Bethany Bland, Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce, 601 W. 10th St., Rock Falls 61071.
