2008 Year in Review

Donna Tichler

Donna Tichler, 73, died Saturday February 2, 2008 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.

Donna was born January 3, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of John and Josephine Chase. She married Robert Tichler on November 14, 1952 in Morrison. He died October 7, 1999. Donna was a homemaker and a member of Lyndon United Methodist Church, Lyndon.

Survivors include, two daughters, Deborah (Steven) Harris of Lyndon and Pamela (Richard) Cuevas of Dale City, Va.; four sons, Terry (Maureen) Tichler of Rock Falls, Rodney (Coral) Tichler of Dixon, Mark (Kristin) Tichler and Todd (Cathryn) Tichler both of Sterling; three sisters, Betty Brown, Ruth Turner and Joyce Halverson all of Clinton, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday February 6, 2008 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls with Reverend Dalmus Meeks of Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls officiating. Burial will follow at Lyndon Cemetery, Lyndon, IL.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
