Traffic Accident
Morrison Police investigated an accident on February 4, 2008 at approximately 8:28 a.m. in the 100 block of East High Street. A car driven by Lorraine R. Best, 39, Morrison, was eastbound when the Best vehicle struck a parked car owned by Robert E. Smith, Morrison.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision. Total damage to both vehicles exceeded $500. Best was cited for improper lane usage. Best is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Vehicle Parking
The Morrison Police Department would like to thank the community residents for their cooperation in the observance of parking regulations during the recent snow emergencies. Observance of these regulations has allowed snow removal crews to better clear the streets.
