Naomi A. Riceman

NAOMI A. RICEMAN, 81, of 6510 Holly Road, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at her home.

Naomi was born April 26, 1926 in Andover, IL, to Harry and Anna (Peterson) Johnson. She was educated in the Andover, IL schools. Naomi married Donald E. Riceman on August 17, 1946 in Rock Island, IL. He died October 27, 1987. Naomi owned and operated "The Ceramic Shop" in Fulton for many years, late moving it to her home. She received The Freddie Award for best of show for a ceramic piece in 1961.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Mrs. Leon) Groh of Fulton, IL and Suzan (Mrs. Donald) Huebner of Albany, IL; four grandchildren, Laura (Mrs. Bill) Eads and Lisa (Mrs. Mark) Peska, Tyler Huebner and Kyle Huebner; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Jongejan of Cambridge, IL and Mrs. Verla Shelton of Geneseo, IL; two brothers, Harry Johnson of Florida and Clarence (Lisa) Johnson of Cambridge, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and a sister, Maxine Miller.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Scott Stephan, Pastor - Second Reformed Church, Fulton, IL

VISITATION: None- the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

INURNMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery - Fulton, IL
