Obstructed Vision and DUI Charges
Whiteside County Deputies arrested Christina A. McCusker, 20, of Thomson on January 1, 2008 at 4:35 a.m. for Obstructed Vision and (2) Counts of DUI, following an incident north of Fulton on Illinois Route 84. McCusker was processed and released from Whiteside County Jail.
Speeding and DUI Charges
Mitchell D. Shepard, age 50, Morrison was arrested on January 5, 2008 at 1:24 a.m. for Speeding on Illinois Route 78 south of Morrison. Shepard was also charged with (2) DUI. He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond pending a February 7, 2008 court appearance. Rick’s Auto Body assisted at the scene.
Three Arrested on Curfew Violations
A female 16-year-old from Prophetstown, a 13-year-old male from Fulton and a 14-year-old male from Fulton, were all arrested on January 6, 2008, at 2:50 a.m. for Curfew Violation by Whiteside County Deputies, following the investigation of a vehicle parked at a business in Fulton. The three were released to their parents, pending further investigation from Juvenile Court Services. Fulton Police assisted on the scene.
Fuel Theft Results in Arrest
Following the report of a gas and go from Morrison FS, Whiteside County Deputies stopped the suspected vehicle and arrested a 16-year-old Sterling female for No Valid Driver’s License on January 19, 2008 at 6:13 p.m. Morrison police also arrested the 16-year-old and her 17-year-old male passenger for the retail theft.
Failure to Yield and DUI Charges
Whiteside County Deputies arrested Brian A. Sonnenberg, age 51, of Prophetstown on January 9, 2008 at 11:35 p.m., following a traffic stop in Lyndon, after Sonnenberg failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle. He was arrested for Failure to Yield and (2) counts of DUI. Sonnenberg was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released on bond pending a February 14, 2008 court appearance. Illinois State Police and Hunter’s Auto Body assisted at the scene.
17-Year-Old Receives Three Charges
Whiteside County Deputies stopped Travis E. Howell, age 17, Morrison, for Improper Lane Usage on Illinois Route 78 at East Wall Street, Morrison on January 19, 2008 at 1:08 a.m. Howell was subsequently arrested for the Improper Lane Usage, (2) counts of DUI and Violation of a Restricted License. Howell was processed at the Whiteside County Jail and released pending a February 21, 2008 court date. Rick’s Auto Body assisted at the scene.
All of the above accusations are merely charges and the defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
