Morrison Police Reports – January 21, 2008

On January 18, at 7:49 a.m., Morrison Police Department were called to the intersection of Lincolnway and Lincolnway Court for an accident. A vehicle driven by Margaret Slavin, 17, of Morrison was at the stop sign on Lincolnway Court. Slavin reported that she had difficulty seeding due to the sun in her eyes. She then pulled out into Lincolnway and was struck by a vehicle driven by Amber Bramm, 33, of Morrison. Minor injuries were reported by both drivers by no medical assistance was requested. Damage to both behicles was over $500. No citations were issued.

On January 19, at 2:12 p.m., Morrison Police Department investigated a vehicle accident at the parking lot of Movie Magic at 633 E. Lincolnway. Julie Richards, 49, of Morrison, said that when she pulled into the parking lot, her vehicle skidded on the ice and struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle owned by Karen Morales, of Morrison. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. Damages was in excess of $500 to both vehicles.
