Community Ballroom Dancing and Lessons

Morrison's MAPPING Recreation and Family Committee is inviting the community of Morrison to come out this Sunday, January 20th, to the Odell Public Library's Community Room and learn to Ballroom Dance, 2:30 - 5:00.

The afternoon will start with Ballroom Dancing lessons in a few basic ballroom dance steps demonstrated and taught to the visitors by Natalie Sprotsky. Dance lessons will then be followed by an afternoon of dancing to enjoy the "new steps" learned. Also in February, the Recreation Dance Committee will hold a Ballroom Dance to celebrate Valentines Day and enjoy everyone’s' new dance steps.

This is the fourth community dance sponsored by the Recreation and Family Committee to offer the city of Morrison recreation for the total family. It is hoped that you will come out and enjoy this community event. Admission is $5.00 for adults to age twelve. A Family Pass is available for $15.00 for all members of a family household.

Any questions please contact Nancy Anderson at 815-772-7699.
