Ashford Plans Hall of Fame Induction, Pack the Gym Event

The Ashford University Athletics Department will induct newly selected members into its Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, Jan. 19. The induction ceremony will be held between AU’s women’s and men’s basketball games against Mount Mercy College – approximately 2:30 p.m. in Kehl Arena.

This year’s honorees are all former student-athletes of the institution. Athletics Director Meg Schebler said, “We are pleased to honor this outstanding group of people for their dedication and service to our institution. We are proud of their accomplishments and recognize their achievements with this induction.”

The University’s Alumni Association will also host its annual Pack the Gym event on the same day. Alumni and their families will be admitted free to the basketball games to cheer on the Saints teams.

“We always get a great turnout and look forward to seeing everyone reminisce about their times here at the University,” said Heather Hilgendorf-Cooley, Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Alumni and Career Services.
