F-S Fillies Could Not Outlast Rock Falls

On May 6 the F/S Fillies welcomed Rock Falls to their home field. The Fillies jumped to an early lead when Kyla Renkes bunted on, Heather Andersen bunted on and Jordan Mann singled in Renkes and Andersen.

This was all the runs that the Fillies could muster. Rock Falls scored four runs here and there to take the game 2-4. Jordan Mann pitched again for the Fillies and was helped by her defense many times including a heads up double play by Andrea Vegter. And getting out of a bases loaded one out jam. Next game is May 9 in Sterling followed by the end of the season verses Bureau Valley May 10 at home.
