F/S Fillies Beat EPTL

The Morrison Fresh/Soph Fillies shut out EPTL 18-0 with
Kate Tenboer on the mound. In the first inning, Tenboer struck out
the first 3 EPTL batters. The Fillies led off the first inning with Kyla Renkes hitting a single, Megan Nelson flied out to move Renkes
to second and eventually stealing home. Jordan Mann walked, Heather
Andersen singled to score Mann. The Fillies ended the first with scoring two runs.

In the second inning for EPTL, the first batter grounded out and Tenboer struck out the side. In the Fillies second, Abigail Weisel singled, Renkes singled to score Weisel, Nelson singled, Tenboer singled to score Renkes and Nelson. Mann then singled to score Tenboer, Andersen singled, Kate Durham reached on a fielders choice, Callie Bush singled, Becca Head singled to score Andersen and Durham. The Fillies scored six runs in the second.

In EPTL's third, the first batter grounded out and Tenboer struck out the next two. Renkes lead off the Fillies third with a
single and stole home on a couple of passed balls by EPTL.
Nelson walked, Tenboer walked, Mann singled to score Nelson
and Tenboer. Andersen and Bush singled, Renkes hit a double
to score Andersen and Bush. The Fillies scored six more runs
in their third.

EPTL came to bat in the fourth and were put out in
order by Tenboer. Tenboer started the Fillies fourth with a
double, Mann singled in Tenboer. Andersen then doubled to
score Mann, Durham singled to score Anderson and Andrea
Vegter was hit by a pitch to take first base. The Fillies left
two on base, but scored three more runs.

In EPTL's fifth, the first batter had a hit, the next one reached on an error, Tenboer then struck out the next batter and the last two grounded out to end the game.

Tenboer faced 17 batters, had 11 strikeouts and allowed 1 hit. The Fillies had 19 hits to win the game 18 to 0.
