Whiteside County Health and Fitness Initiative would like to announce the January registration opening of “Fit for Life,” a ten-week program designed to help Whiteside County citizens learn how to make a serious impact on their health with the little choices they make every day. This program has been very successful in other communities and organizers are excited about the potential for Whiteside County. Be on the lookout for further information in the newspapers and at area restaurants, and start the New Year feeling better!

Whiteside County Health & Fitness Initiative is a cooperative effort between Whiteside County service agencies and area citizens who are “striving to make health and fitness achievable priorities” in Whiteside County. Participating organizations include CGH Medical Center Community Services, Sterling Park District, Sterling-Rock Falls Family YMCA, YWCA of the Sauk Valley, Whiteside County Health Department, and University of Illinois Extension, Whiteside County.
