Hospice of the Rock River Valley Annual Meeting

Hospice of the Rock River Valley recently held its annual membership meeting. Members were notified in advance of the date and time of the meeting. The board of directors was in attendance and annual reports were distributed to the membership. The sub-committees of the board presented reports highlighting the activities of the committees, which include human resources, quality assurance and improvement, strategic planning, public relations and fundraising and finance. In addition, the nominating committee presented a candidate for an available board position. Sandi Fitzmaurice was presented to the membership to fill the open board position. Upon filling the open board position, a slate of nominees was presented to fill executive board seats. Presented and accepted to fill these positions for the next year are President, Michael Clark; Vice-President, Betty Snitchler; Treasurer, Darla Schryver; and Secretary, Chris Gehlbach. Following the reports and business of the board, an open forum was held to provide the membership with an opportunity to present questions or comments to the board.
