Hospice Presents Awards

CGH Medical Center was presented with the organizational 2005 “Friend of Hospice Award” at the 16th Annual Festival of Trees Gala Evening. Accepting the award from Hospice of the Rock River Valley’s Executive Director Brad Schwarz were representatives of CGH Medical Center (l to r): Dana McCoy, Deb Keaschall, Ed Andersen, Schwarz, Sandi Fitzmaurice, and Norm Deets.

Nadine Brabender, a volunteer with Hospice of the Rock River Valley, was presented with the individual 2005 “Friend of Hospice Award” at the 16th Annual Festival of Trees Gala Evening. Nadine accepted her award surrounded by staff members of the Hospice of the Rock River Valley: Cindy Williams, Dottie Conboy, Nelda Straw, Marda Hoff, Brabender, Chris Larson, Judy Jellerichs, and Brad Schwarz.

Hospice of the Rock River Valley recently awarded the new “Friend of Hospice Award” during the 16th Annual Festival of Trees Gala Evening held at Deer Valley Country Club. The “Friend of Hospice Award” will be presented annually by the Hospice of the Rock River Valley to corporations-organizations and-or individuals who have made contributions of time and effort of such significance to have molded the course of the organizations history.

This award was created in honor of Cheryl Price and Marilyn Williams, for without their vision, devotion and commitment, Hospice of the Rock River Valley would not exist today. CGH Medical Center was presented the organizational “Friend of Hospice Award” for 2005 and Nadine Brabender was presented with the individual award.
