Scholastic Bowl Doing Exceptional in Conference

The MHS Scholastic Bowl team entered conference play in October with two huge wins. The streak continued last week as the Schol Bowl team won two more conference matches with a huge margin of victory.

The team went into action again on Saturday at the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches' Association Kick-off Tournament. The team went 5-0 in pool play against a couple of very difficult teams. The team entered the afternoon bracket play with an easy win in round one, a come from behind victory win in round two, and a decisive win in the championship match.

Eliot driver was also selected to the All Tournament Team for answering 36 out of 100 toss up questions during the morning pool play.
