The Morrison Chamber of Commerce invites you and your family to a celebration of the holidays, "Hometown Christmas" parade and walk on Thursday, December 1, 2005, from 6-8 p.m.

Eat supper at these following locations before venturing to Main Street:

The United Methodist Church, 200 West Lincolnway will be serving a Baked Potato and Dessert Bar from 4-7 p.m.

The Presbyterian Church, 100 East Lincolnway is serving Vegetable Beef Soup, salad, rolls, crackers, dessert, coffee and milk from 4-7 p.m. Cost is $6 - Adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

St. Anne’s Church, 401 North Cherry Street will be holding a Soup Supper from 4-7 p.m. including Cajun Seafood Gumbo, Potato or Vegetable Soup. The meal also includes bread, veggies and dessert.

Brethren In Christ will be serving free Hot Choco and Cider on Main Street near the KettleKorn Stand.

The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the corner of Madison and Main Streets and proceed down Main Street to the Post Office.

Visit with the co-hosts for this year’s event, Roy Velde and Dr. Richard Vandermyde at Wells Fargo Bank following the parade.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in Morrison to take children’s requests at his cottage on Main Street and Base Street.

Asylum of Mad Dreams will hold a non-scary guided tour through the spook house from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Raffle tickets are available at all financial institutions and Kophamer Realty with prizes being awarded from Tegeler Amish Furniture, The Cake Shop, and Kay Brandau. The drawing will be held at 8 p.m. by Santa.
