2005 Halloween Parade Winners

Saturday afternoon proved to be a perfect day for a Halloween Parade as hundreds of Ghosts and Goblins and Princesses and Fairies gathered at Community State Bank for the Annual Morrison Halloween Parade.

Judges wandered through the children trying to decide the winners in different age categories. Winners were announced following the parade at the Morrison Post Office and prizes were awarded.

Cottonwood 4-H Club handed out treat bags to the first 200 participants.

The Morrison Chamber of Commerce and Cottonwood 4-H. Prizes sponsor the parade. Prizes and candy are donated by local businesses.

Winners for the different age groups are as follows:

0-3 Years Old - Chick n coop: Clara & Cooper Bush; Itsy Bitsy Spider: Trey Strating; Flower: Kaylee Bielema; Mickey and Minnie: Skylar & Schyon Drolema; Snow White: Gianna

4-7 Years Old - Scarecrow: Seth Peterson; Chicken: Lidea Bonneur; Flower girl: Lillian Maxfield; Witch: Lexi Gray; Princess: Lena Cowsert

8-12 Years Old - Old Lady: Paige Shirk; Mother in Curlers: Abby Mickley; Washing Machine: Erica VanBuren; Keisa Girl: MataLou Vanderbleek; Deck of Cards: Jake Pruis.
