Last Chance to Register for Holiday Dining for the Diabetic

The deadline to register for the two-hour workshop “Holiday Dining for the Diabetic,” is Wednesday, November 2. Do not miss this opportunity!

The University of Illinois Extension will offer a special program just for diabetics and their families. “Holiday Dining for the Diabetic” will be held Friday, November 4 at the Whiteside County Senior Center from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

During the session Sarah Todd, RD, Extension Educator, Nutrition and Wellness with the University of Illinois Extension will teach strategies to effectively deal with food choices during the holiday season. The program will include a cooking demonstration. Those attending will sample foods made during the program.

To register contact Whiteside County Extension Office at 815-772-4075. There is a $3 program fee to cover costs. University of Illinois Extension programs are open to everyone.
